Feb 1st, 2nd and 4th! That's right 4th!

So the genius' at the calendar company put another black background with white drawing in on the 3rd. That is why there is no 3rd in this blog. I know I know! Don't get mad at me for not having a pen that shows up on it. It is TOTALLY their fault for be creative. Sheez what were they thinking?!
Crap going to have to find a pen for those soon...
Oh and don't mind the crappy tearing of these pages.. That is not my fault either... I swear!

Jan 18th and 19th Dudeles!

Only had enough time at lunch to do 2 Dudeles today! But they were pretty fun! Hope you think so too!

How could I have drawn anything BUT a Zebra lifting and his girl swooning! Notice he is also lifting twice the weight that the suggestion says! No that's not because I wrote the whole weight on one side so I had to match it! You're crazy for even thinking that...

 If you have not done this in your lifetime then you need to go do it right now! I'm serious! GO GO GO!

Sorry work has changed a bit since someone quit so I haven't had much time to draw on the Calendar. I got three done today!!! (including my birthday, which was a horrible one) Enjoy and let me know what you think!

All i gotta say about this one is "teehee"...

Here is my Birthday one! The comment said " gather these things neatly and tie them with a cord" Well that is DUMB! So my mind went to "why doesn't everything catch on fire around a person in movies or comics who's hair is on fire. That doesn't make any sense!"

This one was much fun! I giggle every time I look at it.

Calandar Doodles, Jan 11th, 13th and 14th

Here is the next set of drawings. These were kinda boring until I got to today's! The Bird was fun! Not very inspired but it was fun anywho! You might notice that I am missing the 12th... Well in the infinite wisdom of the calender guru's of old. They decided to put some days with all black backgrounds... While when I first noticed it I thought it was a cool idea! I do not have anything that I can draw on them that will show up. So I guess we will just hold them until I do.. hopefully....

It is tough and stressful having all living things rely on you ever day. It has got to get the sun! Come on!

 Since the Calendar screwed me out of a drawing for now. Here is my daughter in her Birthday outfit before her party. Her Birthday was on the 12th, so it fits!

So the calender wanted me to use a color and choose what color this chair should be.. BORING!

Now this one was fun to do. I would hate to see the floor under this cage. Did you notice where their pooper would be in this itty bitty cage? You did now!

Didn't like this one so much for the same reason as yesterday. What I am a messy eater leave me alone!

The team is called "Santa's little helpers" The bells make it hard for them to sneak up on people but the ears make them look mean! Today they are playing the "Sasquayeti's"-Tough but cuddly!

Nothing cute to say about this one. So much pressure, from my self.

Doodle Calendar Jan, 5th, 6th and 7th 2013

Some more calendar doodles. Almost caught up! but will be back behind this weekend since the calendar is at work. Oh well just means more doodles! woo!

Not a fan of this one since it is hard to draw over the thick lines. Wonder if whiteout(tm don't sue me!) would work to cover them. Hmmmmm.....

This one confused me... guess the dark line is the water line and the "eye balls" are buoy. Thought it was dumb so did what I want. Think I will always do what I want !SCREW YOUR TEXT!

 Kept trying to draw a huge monster foot but never liked it. So I got frustrated and kicked a baby! Without actually kicking the baby! That would be mean! Geez what do you think I am? A monster!?

Day 2! I know two days in a row right!? More Calendar stuff. Some of the pictures they give to work off are really.... dumb.... ya that's it, dumb. What am I supposed to do with a tree that takes up the whole page? Eh what can you do but make it a lollypop tree!? Nothing! Thats what!

Jan 1st 2013 Calendar book.

So I got this cute little calendar from my wonderful sister and I forgot I had it to start the new year! Yeah me!
I figured I would try to upload as many of the finished days as I can, remember to do, to my Blog! Wish me luck since I am already behind! WOOHOO!

Jan 01, 2013: The guy on the left is what was on the page. He creeped me out so I made him be a large monster, from the old movies fighting a Godzilla type creature! RAWWWWRRR!!!

Drawing at lunch

Well for all the one of you that read this I have been doing a lot of sketching during lunch at work. Better than not sketching but still wish I could do this for a living! I have a lot better ones still in the book but with my computer not working I have to scan when I have time at work which is usually right after I finish the sketch. Here are a couple since I haven't posted in forever....

Nightcrawler was actually done first and the Dragon which I liked so much I threw some ink on it was done today!

I do have some sketches that I need to scan and will do so after the holiday weekend.  But I was at work and found these links that, 1) I didnt want to forget and 2) thought any random veiwer might find useful!

The first is a pose website that has a bunch of poses that you can fly around and sketch. It also has a cool 30 second sketch button that goes through poses at a 30 sec interval for sketching.

Practice...

So I have feeling that most of posts will be called this, I hope not but the more practice the better.
In searching through a ton of awsome peoples work I have found that...

1) I Suck..... Lol (a shocking find I know)
2) my tones or horrible and I need to work on them in order to become a better artist...
3) my proportions and anatomy needs a lot of work...

I always am worried about the colors and which ones to use but the tones set the whole mood for the piece and if those are as off as I think my works are then the colors don't mean diddly squadoosh.
I know a bit about anatomy but not nearly enough. I have been trying to and getting by with a basic knowledge and trying to push it in other characters I design shows this lack.
So I decided to find a black and white models photo and draw it like I was at a life drawing session. It was a welcome bonus that it happened to be a gorgrously hot asian. Bummer I know. Lol. HEY I might as well have fun too!  This base sketch took me 30 to 45 minutes ( yes I forgot to look at the clock and starting and stopping for the weee one doesnt help.) Let me know what you think all you non exsistant people that will see the Bloggy blog blog....

Seeing them side by side on the upload screen almost amde me puke! Lol Head is off and squished/hunched too much, she lost her neck, my second monitor is too dark, and I made her fat... Good to know!

What is this blog thing that everybody is talking about?

Well.... with the job search not going as well as I had hoped. I am trying to inspire/ push myself to work harder , better and faster.  With such great artists and people on this blog I am hoping.... no, going to do better with my work and my life/ lifes ambitions. Wish me luck and any help that comes along is greatly appreciated!
